Technology in the service of craftsmanship
Inside the new facility, traditional woodworking operates alongside latest-generation CNC machinery dedicated to solid wood and panel processing.
Profiling, turning and complex machining can therefore be carried out with a high degree of precision and consistency, while leaving to people what no machine can replace: the experience, the sensitivity to materials and the ability to interpret each project.
For Tosconova, innovation does not mean moving away from craftsmanship. It means giving it better tools. It is precisely the meeting of craftsmanship and technology that enables Tosconova to take on increasingly complex work and create custom elements without losing control over the final result.
An increasingly integrated production chain
The new woodworking facility is part of a broader project.
Over the years, Tosconova has progressively chosen to bring in-house the expertise required to create its products: design and engineering, woodworking, finishing, upholstery and lighting.
It is a demanding choice, but one that is fully consistent with Tosconova’s vision of quality.
Knowing what is made means understanding every step that takes an idea through to the finished product. It means being able to modify and customize. Above all, it means being able to work with architects, interior designers and professionals not simply as a furniture supplier, but as a partner in bringing a project to life.
The new facility strengthens this capability and brings Tosconova’s total production area to more than 10,000 square metres.

Producing better also means producing responsibly
The new space was designed not only around production, but also around the way Tosconova chooses to produce.
The photovoltaic system installed on the roof contributes to the facility’s energy needs, while the finishing departments are organised to work with water-based finishes and also oil-based finishes.
Wood waste generated during production is also recovered and reintroduced into a process of valorisation, with the aim of reducing waste and making the most conscious possible use of a valuable raw material.
These are different choices, but they all belong to the same idea: the quality of a product also depends on the way it is made.
People, expertise and territory
There is one aspect that, for Tosconova, comes before square metres and technology: people.
Tosconova was founded in Quarrata in 1963 as an upholstery workshop and, although the company has evolved considerably since then, it has chosen to continue growing in the same territory.
Investing in a new facility therefore also means investing in the skills that have developed around the company over the years, creating a better working environment and placing increasingly advanced tools in the hands of people with a deep knowledge of their craft. Technology can increase precision, improve processes and open up new possibilities. But it is still people who turn a project into something real.
For this reason, the new facility represents much more than an expansion. It is the confirmation of a production system built over time and designed to last.
